Victor Restis cleared over bank loan

Greek shipowner Victor Restis has been acquitted over a bank affair that had led to him being held in custody for more than four months back in 2013.

An Athens magistrates’ council dropped all charges against Restis and an associate over a loan he had obtained from First Business Bank (FB Bank), his lawyer Michalis Dimitrakopoulos told TradeWinds.

FB Bank employees were also cleared.
