The Swiss bank has failed to persuade a London high court judge to give summary judgment in its favour over claims brought by the Ventouris investment company, Camerata Property Inc.
Ventouris, who had $50m to invest in 2007 following the sale of five bulk carriers, sued Credit Suisse over the sale to Camerata of structured notes that were wiped out or lost value as a result of the Lehman Bros bankruptcy.
