Greek shipowner, Charalambos Ventouris, has failed in a negligence claim against Credit Suisse over the loss of part of a fortune originally gained from the sale of most of his bulk carrier fleet.
Ventouris invested $12m in July 2007 in an interest rate swap note issued by Lehman Bros but lost all or most of this sum when the US owned bank filed for bankruptcy.
