It has acquired a stake in TCV Stevedoring Company (TCV) in partnership with Japanese logistics company Kamigumi Co.
TCV, which operates the Valencia container terminal, is part of Spanish global container terminal operator Grup Maritim TCB (GMTCB).
Mitsubishi Corp said the move allows it to enter the container terminal business in Spain.
