A US judge has issued an order blocking legal actions against Ezra Holdings as part of the offshore vessel owner's bankruptcy.
Bankruptcy Judge Robert Drain signed an order today that prevents any company from taking action to seize Singapore-listed Ezra's property or start a lawsuit against the outfit.
Ezra's lawyers at Saul Ewing requested the order as part of the company's Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings in White Plains, New York, where the company's chief restructuring officer has said that Ezra is facing 14 pending or threatened actions.
