An ambitious investment plan that will see Ultrapetrol double both its offshore fleet and river barging activities has been unveiled at an investor presentation in Buenos Aires.
The company plans to add another ocean going containership to its fleet but appears to see the Brazilian offshore market and meeting transportation demand for soybean and iron ore transportation on South American rivers as faster growing sectors.
