Tokai Kisen losses in 1H

Japanese passenger ship owner Tokai Kisen has posted a half year loss of JPY 296m ($3.87m).

This compares with a loss of JPY 161m in the same period of 2010.

Its revenue was JPY 4.688bn for the half year compared with income of JPY 4,831bn for the first half of 2010.

The company forecasts a full year loss of JPY 20m compared with a profit of JPY 226m for 2010.
