Dubai ship financing platform Shipfinex has announced its first tokenisation customer.
Bulker and tanker owner TMC Shipping has agreed to tokenise “a few” of its vessels on the platform.
Shipfinex is a pioneer in alternative financing, allowing shipowners to raise capital by “fractionalising” their assets and selling them to investors in the form of digital tokens.
