Thorsten Haeser has quit as chief commercial officer of Hapag-Lloyd on the same day as it reported an EUR 100m ($124m) dividend on the back of a strong 2017 performance.
The German container line is shuffling its executive board and executive responsibilities in response to Haeser’s exit.
Hapag-Lloyd said in a statement Haeser was leaving “on the most amicable of terms”.
