Dry-bulk shipowner TBS Ocean Logistics has taken on Mitsubishi Corp and Lars T Ugland as investors and rebranded itself under the name Guardian Navigation.
Guardian, which continues from the longtime TBS headquarters in Scarsdale, New York, owns dry bulk vessels and operates dry bulk pools.
Management said the Guardian name “reflects not only our vision for the future but also our commitment to our cargo clients, shipowner clients, financiers for the shipowner, crews and the environment.”
