A near $30m surplus has boosted the free reserve of the Swedish Club to more than $150m.
The Gothenburg based marine mutual made an underwriting profit of $17.7m with the investment portfolio contributing another $11.8m
The Swedish Club is the first of the protection and indemnity mutuals to report with low claims and positive investment results pointing to last year being generally financially favourable.
