Sino-Global Shipping America has unveiled plans to accept Bitcoin as a form of payment for its global shipping, freight, and logistics services.
The Nasdaq-listed company, which describes itself as a non-asset based shipping and freight logistical integrated solutions provider, said payments made in the cryptocurrency will be made at the rate applicable at the payment date.
Sino-Global chief executive Lei Cao said the move was designed to adapt to “digital currency industry trends” by offering customers options to use a variety of payment methods.
