Singapore is extending its financial support for sectors of the maritime industry struggling due to the Covid-19.
The “MaritimeSG Together” package, which was first unveiled in May 2020, provides support for companies, individuals and seafarers during the pandemic.
The Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) said the support will now run until June 2021 and brings the cumulative amount of support to SGD 33m ($24.6m).
