A select group of German retail investors are showing a renewed interest in shipping, according to Axel Siepmann, managing director of Braemar NAVES Corporate Finance.
However, their re-emergence does not signal a return to the glory days of the KG (limited partnership) market. Instead, the Braemar Shipping Services division is seeing a greater portion of its business come from international clients.
