The Bombay-listed coastal operator will begin operations on 15 August to connect Mundra port (Gujarat)-Jawaharlal Nehru Port (Maharashtra)-Hazira (Gujarat) and the Kolkata-Vizag (Andhra Pradesh)-Chennai-Kochi (Kerala) sectors, it announced today.
At the same time the company announced that its fleet of five feederships earned net profit of INR 28.6m ($475,000) during the quarter to 30 June, down from INR 67.4m during the corresponding period last year due to higher finance costs and lower other income.
