State-owned Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) has turned red in the second quarter as its tanker division was the only one to stay profitable.
Net loss to the end of September was INR 200m ($2.94m), compared to earnings of INR 559.1m in the same period a year ago.
Total revenue was down at INR 7.58bn from INR 8.29bn.
SCI’s tankers stayed in the money during the quarter and delivered net profit of INR 817m on the back of INR 5.63bn
