John Fredriksen’s Ship Finance International has confirmed the purchase of four containerships from the Lemos Group of Greece in a public securities filing.
Ship Finance is registering just over four million shares on behalf of Outis Nemo Investments Ltd, which is owned by trusts for the benefit of brothers Antonios and Filippos Lemos.
TradeWinds reported on 1 June that Ship Finance had acquired four 13,800-teu vessels built in 2014, all with long-term charters attached.
