Norwegian shipping executive Atle Sebjornsen has joined Indian shipping technology company JM Baxi Group as chief executive of its DIABOS arm.
Established in 2008, DIABOS is a provider of web-based port cost management services to shipowners and operators, but Sebjornsen is looking at new solutions.
“We try to offload the burden of the routine and respective tasks that tend to be more or less identical across companies and segments and which are today performed in an insufficient manner and often in high-cost locations,” Sebjornsen said.
