Russian tanker owner Sovcomflot has secured new financing for the newly acquired Prisco fleet and two more multifunctional icebreaking supply vessels.
SCF has signed new long-term credit facilities worth $252m with a number of banks, including Nordea, Citibank, DVB, ING and Unicredit.
The $125m loan provided by Nordea Bank Norge will go towards the financing of nine tankers picked up at auction in the wake of Prisco’s bankruptcy.
