The Japanese shipbuilder posted a net deficit of JPY3.2bn ($32.5m) for the six months to 30 September versus a loss of JPY 2bn forthe same period a year earlier.
Sasebo made a loss of JPY 892m in the quarter to 30 Juneso its second quarter loss spiralled to a huge JPY 2.3bn.
First half revenue dropped by 25% to JPY 16.2bn from JPY20.2bn.
