Guernsey-based shipowner Torkel Alendal is closing down two of his Norwegian shipping companies.
Salhus Shipping and Star Tankers 1 AS will be wound up this year, according to the companies' annual reports.
Salhus logged a pre-tax loss of NOK 2m ($250,000) and debt of NOK 22m at the end of 2016.
The board states that creditors will be fully repaid before the company closes.
