Stuart Rivers has stepped down as chief executive of maritime charity the Sailors' Society after six years in the post, TradeWinds has learned.
The charity confirmed to TradeWinds that Rivers resigned on 7 May but gave no reason for his departure.
"Sandra Welch, who has been deputy CEO, will assume for the time being the role of acting CEO," a spokesperson for the charity said.
