The London marine insurance market is prepared if the euro crashes according to broker Andrew Sturdy.
Sturdy who is a Posidonia regular says the Lloyd’s market is already making provision to work in multiple currencies if required.
“We don’t know what is going to happen. Hopefully Greece will stay with the euro and it will be business as normal,” the founder of SSL Insurance Brokers told TradeWinds webTV.
Sturdy says it is noticeable that Posidonia is flatter this year.
“People are scaling down their parties that in buoyant times were incredibly lavish. Bearing in mind the mood of the country it was not appropriate to do this year,” he added.
