Nordic American Tankers (NAT) is aiming to lower a proposed major hike in its overall number of shares by 10%.
The New York-listed owner has decreased a requested increase to 400 million shares to 360 million units, all having a $0.01 par value, according to a regulatory filing submitted today.
The company's current authorised capital currently stands at 180 million shares, so the lessened proposal would still double NAT's total number of units.
