Norden is projecting a $16.5m per year saving from a fuel efficiency drive.
The Danish owner launched the project back in 2012 and has seen a marked reduction in the fuel consumption of both owned and chartered tonnage.
Bunkers account for 45% of the owner’s voyage expenses and from 2014 to 2016 its efforts have led to savings of $24.9m,
