Norden has kept its full-year guidance unchanged after reporting a smaller than forecast third quarter loss.

The results helped the Copenhagen-listed shipowner avoid wider stock market turbulence on a day when global maritime equities were heading down in the face of Donald Trump’s rise to the White House.

Jan Rindbo, chief executive of Norden, said: “Overall, the third quarter developed as expected and finishes, despite our efforts, with an unsatisfactory result as a consequence of market developments.
