Tanker buys are on the cards for diversified Danish owner Norden as it posted a rise in full-year profit on stronger revenues and one-off gains.
The Copenhagen-quoted company is also eyeing more dry-bulk cargoes over the next three years as it prepares for an influx of handysize tonnage.
Carsten Mortensen-led Norden did, however, warn of another “challenging” year for bulkers and said it expects income to fall in 2011 as it becomes a net buyer of tonnage.
