Noble Group is facing charges of gender discrimination from a senior chartering executive.
She filed a complaint to the US district court of Connecticut on 23 July.
According to the document, the executive, whose last title was global director of oil liquids chartering, has brought up claims for gender discrimination and violation of the equal pay act.
In a 56-page document, she describes many occasions on which she was getting paid less than her male peers.
