Cameron Mitchell has been confirmed as the new director of the Isle of Man Ship Registry and will start in the role on 1 April.
Mitchell has been the registry's deputy director since 2018 and replaces Dick Welsh, who is retiring after 13 years as head of the organisation.
His career has included stints at Maersk, Geest Line and Farstad Shipping, where he worked for over 10 years as an engineer.
