Navios Maritime Containers is pressing ahead with plans to upgrade its junior listing in Oslo with a float in the US.
It has filed a confidential draft registration statement in what could break a long initial public offering drought for shipping in the US capital markets.
While Oslo, Frankfurt and other exchanges have seen successful shipping listings for major companies of late, Gener8 Maritime’s 2015 IPO remains the last for a mainstream maritime company in New York.
