Japanese trader Mitsui & Co has pumped money into Danish shipowning fund Navigare Capital Partners.
The investor said it was proud to take part in Navigare’s Maritime Investment Fund III, which was launched this year with a target of raising $650m.
Mitsui & Co said the focus is on sustainable shipping, including “green” vessels and carriers.
