Navig8 Chemical Tankers has fallen deeper into the red for the second quarter despite pulling in slightly more revenue.
The Nicolas Busch-led owner posted a $5.7m loss compared to a $3.57m loss a year ago as daily TCE rates fell across the board, particularly about $1,000 in "A-class" to $14,387 per day.
Revenue edged up to $40.4m from $38.4m due to vessel operating days increasing by 202 days to 2,891 compared to the same period in 2017.
