Navig8 Chemical Tankers and Tongli Shipping have both turned to CSSC (Hong Kong) Shipping to refinance tonnage, according to regulatory filings.
The leasing arm of China State Shipbuilding Corp said it was acquiring five vessels from Navig8 in a sale-and-leaseback transaction.
The unnamed chemical and product tankers comprise two 49,500-dwt vessels, two 37,596-dwt ships and a single 38,506-dwt tanker.
