Hornbeck Offshore has been pulled into the red again in the second quarter of this year.
A lack of drilling permits in the Gulf of Mexico signalled bad times for the company’s offshore support vessels.
Hornbeck recorded a net loss of $7m for the second quarter. This followed a loss of $9m for the first quarter. This compares with a profit of $13m in the second quarter of last year.
