Weak tanker markets and floods in Australia have forced Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) to drop its full-year profit forecast.

The Japanese shipping behemoth also posted a weaker third-quarter net figure as several markets continued to hurt but pointed to a possible dry-bulk recovery after Chinese New Year.

In late October MOL had set its sights on net profit for the full financial year to the end of March of JPY 65bn ($791.48m).
