Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) chief executive Junichiro Ikeda says a full-scale recovery for the shipping industry is “still in the making”.
“2017 was a year of resurgent growth in global trade, supported by a firm world economy,” he said in his New Year message.
“Japan showed signs of improving business sentiment, as highlighted by the stock market rally in the latter half of the year.
