Japan's K Line has arranged a ¥5.9bn ($54.1m) climate transition loan from Japanese banks to fund its latest LNG-fuelled car carrier newbuilding.
The funding has been applied to the 7,080-ceu Century Highway Green, which was delivered to K Line on Friday.
The finance has been provided by Mizuho Bank and Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank (SMTB), and was agreed on 10 March.
