Reederei Jungerhans is ending the year on a high after successfully refinancing a fleet of 10 heavy multipurpose (MPP) ships.
The deal rounds off two-years of negotiations with financiers that were stretched out as a result of the coronavirus.
Jungerhans, which is based in Haren on the German-Dutch border, said the deal had been arranged with loans from two regional German banks and an equity injection from unnamed partners.
