Columbia Shipmanagement (Deutschland) has recruited former Hellespont CFO Joachim Brack as its new finance and commercial managing director.
Brack replaces Mads Soerensen, who has left the company after seven years to pursue new challenges.
He will work alongside overall office managing director and group chief operating officer Carsten Sommerhage, and technical director Pablo Mussi, in the company’s Hamburg office.
Described by Columbia as an experienced entrepreneurial finance and shipping professional, Brack has held senior positions in a number of shipping companies.
