Hyundai Merchant Marine’s 20 ship newbuilding move is manna from heaven for South Korean shipyards, Affinity says.
At the end of September HMM confirmed Hyundai Heavy Industries would build eight new boxships of 15,000-teu.
A dozen 20,000-teu vessels were split between DSME and Samsung Heavy industries.
