The creditor is preparing a writ of summons in Singapore to reclaim its cash, according to a court document seen by Reuters.
The trader is pursuing OW Bunker East, a subsidiary of the fuel and tanker company, over the sale of goods.
OW was declared bankrupt in Denmark on Friday after identifying an alleged fraud at a Singapore subsidiary that has cost it $125m.
