The merger of Braemar and ACM Shipping in 2014 is now playing a key role in the combined brokerage building up its forward orderbook, Braemar ACM chief executive James Gundy says.
Its orderbook grew by 7% to $41.8m during the first half of this fiscal year, for which it reported an operating profit of £3.5m ($4.6m) this week.
“We have had a very successful six months on big projects that has obviously helped our forward orderbook and created momentum,” Gundy says.
