Indian owner Great Eastern Shipping has confirmed the sale of one of its product carriers.
Market sources had reported the sale earlier this week.
In an announcement to the BSE, Great Eastern confirmed it had handed over the tanker Jag Pari to its new owner.
The 29,100-dwt Jag Pari (built 1982) was reported by TradeWinds yesterday as having been sold “as is” in Columbo for $510 per ldt or $4.4m,
