Norway’s Gram Car Carriers (GCC) has secured more lucrative work for its fleet through a new five-year charter.
The Oslo-listed company said a leading Asian operator has booked the 4,200-ceu Viking Emerald (built 2012) at $28,000 per day from May.
This gives a revenue backlog of $51m over the full term.
The car carrier was due to start a two-year deal at $24,950 per day with another major Asian line in May.
