Park Dong Hyuk, senior executive vice president of DaewooShipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME), was widely tipped to succeed KangDuk-soo who creditors forced to step down earlier this month.
But unconfirmed reports say Park declined the nomination ofthe board led by major shareholder Korean Development Bank (KDB).
