Fincantieri is looking to delist Vard Holdings and take the Norwegian shipbuilding group private, it announced Monday.
The Italian shipbuilder said plans to convene an extraordinary general meeting to seek shareholder approval for the delisting.
To get the green light Finacantieri needs 75% of Vard shares to be voted in favour of the proposal and not more than 10% against it.
