New York listed Excel Maritime Carriers has fixed seven kamsarmaxes bulk carriers on year long deals with freight earnings linked to the Baltic Exchange’s panamax index.
The Athens managed company is not disclosing the identity of the charterers but says the deals will secure at least break even level cash flow and offer a potentially profitable upside.
