Taiwan’s largest containerline booked a net loss of TWD 400.5m ($13.35m) in the three months to 30 June versus a profit of TWD 784.6m during the same period a year ago.
However the result is better than expected as the firm had estimated a loss of just over TWD 900m.
Revenue for the period dipped slightly to TWD 36.5bn compared to TWD 37.5b
