The European Shippers’ Council (ESC) fears that the implementation of a new French rule on the minimum wage will bring chaos.
Describing it as “unacceptable”, ESC has welcomed the European Commission’s decision to start an infringement procedure against France.
From 1 July, all foreign transport workers visiting the country should carry documents to prove that they are paid according to French legislation.
