Germany’s Dr Peters Group has hired the former head of a rival to run its shipping desk.
David Landgrebe, who was previously an executive board member at Ernst Russ, assumed his new role as head of shipping of the Dortmund-based company on 1 August.
He will manage the shipping business from Hamburg, where Dr Peters runs a diversified fleet of owned and managed vessels under the DS Schiffahrt banner.
